The U10 squad for the games on 30th September was Huw, Kate, Josh, Sarah Caitlin, Tom and James. Caitlin, Tom and James are only 7.

One team dropped out of the competition, so we had a league of 4 teams. We played each team twice and added the scores together.

Chapeltown were first and thanks to a goal from James and some great defending from captain Huw and Kate, we held their strong team to a 1-1 draw in the first game, losing 1-0 in the second.

We dominated both games against Slazengers, with some great midfield play by Josh and Tom. We won the games 1-0 and 3-0, with James scoring all of the goals.

The games against Wakefield were more evenly matched. Sarah, Caitlin and their team mates put some super passing moves together to set up James for two more goals as we won both games 1-0.

Encouraged by an excitable crowd of parents, the whole squad played some great hockey. Well done.
